Title: CD/DVD drive not recognized

 Basic stuff, when ripping MC recognizes about 4 CD's before flaking out. When it flakes out, I can hear the CD drive spinning and stopping as if it is reloading. When in burning mode it does not recognize a blank CD. I am using an HP laptop, Pavilion G7, Windows 8.1, Chrome browser, the Windows Media Player works fine. I do not have Windows Media Center installed only JRiver. I searched and found an unanswered post from 4 years ago. Any help would be appreciated, thanx. PB
