Title: Real Player Alternative
Post by: escaflo on October 07, 2003, 01:54:05 am
Hi,

I know that a lot of people here don't like to install RealOne just to be able to play .rm file. Found this little alternative here.

http://www.freecodecs.com/

I haven't try it out yet (haven't uninstalled RealOne) but this look very interesting. Just thought you all might want to take a look.

MC support Real Media but need the Real Player to be install in order to get the codec.

So what this does is give u the codec (no more ad-aholic RealOne) and allows u to stream Real Media using browser too.

I just tried it and it work just aokay! Now I got RealOne out of my system, felt so much more cleaner now. :)
