I touched upon this briefly in http://yabb.jriver.com/interact/index.php?topic=95540.0 , but I wanted to revisit it.
Is there any way to copy JRiver MC settings from one computer to another, without copying the media network UUID's in the process?
The reason I ask is that we have a couple of computers with similar configurations. It would be a lot easier for us to just copy the settings from one to another than to reenter them manually. Library Restore does this, but it copies the network UUID's in the process, which causes problems when both computers are on the same network.
Alternatively, is there a way to reset all the network UUID's after the fact, without uninstalling MC, and without mucking about in the registry?
