We can currently save views, column headers and other stuff...
One thing we cannot currently do, that would be very helpful, is to save/load TAB layouts...
Depending on what I'm doing in MC I usually have a set of tabs I always like to have open, in a specific order...
But then if the work changes, I often need a different set of tabs open. It can be quite a bit of work opening/closing/locating views for the tabs.
Would be extremely useful if we could save/load tab sets...

+1, too.

If you are adding this, please make it a per split view option, and not a global "all tabs" option.
It would be useful to have a preset group of tabs that I can load up in any split.
Saving and restoring the state of all tabs across all split views would be a nuisance.

Next build:
NEW: Added View > Load / Save View to save and load a set of tabs (experimental -- may not remain).
It's experimental because it's a little complicated how all the parameters for the view are saved and I'm not positive it's going to work. I think so, but I need a little wiggle room.

thanks Matt! will happily test...i think 6233638 is the biggest user of tabs here so i'm sure he'll put it through the ringer

Thanks, Matt - will test thoroughly as soon as we are able :)

Hello. how did this go? Is it working?
What I would like to have is when starting JRiver I would like to have the same tabs as last time I used JRiver. I sometimes open 7-8 tabs and jump between them when playing. So that would be very helpful. Thanks.

The feature works. You access it through View > Load / Save View. Use Save after you lay out your tabs (and splits)the way you want them. Give it a name. Then you can use Load later to bring back that set of tabs.

Yup. Works as hoped. Use it all the time. Excellent feature.

Yeap, thanks, it works fine.
However, it would be even more easy if I could save all settings when closing JRiver. I mean not actually save but it would be nice if I can chose to start JRiver with previous settings if I like to. I mean tabs and maybe also others for example volume tracknumber if playing from a playlist so that the songs continues in the list and donīt start from the beginning when starting JRiver. Just an idea to make JRiver even better.
