Title: Two HIMI cables out
Post by: thane108 on March 10, 2015, 06:14:59 pm
Just a quick probably dumb question.

I have two hdmi out on my HTPC.  I can run video out to the TV on one cable and audio out on a second HDMI cable?

Trying to get around handshaking issues - am currently using hdmi to tv and optical to reciever.  Thinking can I swap the second hdmi out for the optical out so I can get multi-channel without down-sampling.

Is that possible?  (If so I'll need to get a second cable.)

This worked well and gets around HDMI handshaking issues when you turn off the TV while listening to music.

At last, a solution.
