Title: Importing Many, Many Files into Library
Post by: rockitdoc on March 11, 2015, 09:38:38 pm
Newb here.  Forgive me, but I figured out how to get single files into a music library one at a time, but with 1000's of files isn't there a way to select multiple files to import instead of doing one at a time?  BTW, I'm using a Mac, so Shift-Click doesn't seem to work for selecting multiple files.

Import whole directories or drives.  Set up Autoimport under Tools/Import.

Big Thanks.  I tried that once, but nothing seemed to happen.  But, this time, with your direction, I waited.....and it began to import.

Patience, Grasshopper!

Cool.

Hello S,

When you did the auto-importing, have you added the folder/drive that you want to import by using "Configure Auto-Import" under Tools/Import?

Best regards,
Y. G.

Not sure.  Why?  The files came into the library OK.
