Simply put: What is Playback Range?
-
until my wife tells me to turn it off.
-
What in the heck are you saying King ?
-
Can someone comment ? I figured this would be a two minute wait for a response...
-
thats the range in time she allows me to playback my music.
what are you talking about?

Nicely put King.
Drosoph - If you put your question in context it might well be a 2 minute response. If you leave us to guess what the context is you are just asking for trouble - especially if Mr Sparta is first to reply ;D

It's a library field used to tell MC to play only a certain range of a file. (0:30 - 0:60) Some ASF / ASX streams specify this.

Thanks Matt ...
For the rest of you ... the Playback Range is a field that you can choose to show in MC ... I just wanted to know what the heck it meant .. since NONE of my files had any data in this field ... :)
Thanks again Matt.

you talking to me?
I like mine better, Matt does not know what he's talking about.
at any rate i don't see a "range" field

More important question: how do I enter data into the "Playback Range" field? It acts like a read-only field.

Ask her nicely and if that doesn't work cancel her credit card.

I know exactly what you mean. Sometimes there's just no negotiating with 'em.
