Title: Handheld Sync not deleting files
Post by: MarkGrigsby on March 17, 2015, 08:53:33 am
Hi,

I am having an issue with syncing a handheld (to a folder on a fixed hard drive). I have selected 'delete files not in sync list' but still there are many files not in the list which are NOT deleted. I have even created a playlist with just 1 track, selected that as the sync list, and still many files are not marked for deletion.  My initial analysis suggests that most of the affected files have file paths that have been somehow modified - I am using [Artist] \ [Album] folder structure, so for example if the album name contains '...' or ':' then the file path is not identical to that album name.

Does anyone else see this and know any solution, or perhaps it is a bug??

Thanks in advance.

I just installed the latest build (upgraded to 84 from 80) and it's fixed! I can't see any note in the changelog so hope it's not a coincidence?!

Thanks for the report.  This was fixed in a recent Mac build but I guess the note didn't get added to the Windows build history.
