Title: 24-192 playing as 24-96 in JRiver with Cambridge DAC Magic 100
Post by: tilly1615 on March 19, 2015, 05:39:49 pm
24-192 files are playing as 24-96 (as shown on indicator lights on Cambridge DAC Magic) in JRiver 20.0.63.

Just to check the DAC and the USB connection, I tried the same files in Foobar 2000.  Cambridge Audio recognizes the same files as 24-192 when I play them in Foobar 2000 with the WASAPI Push output.

So it looks like my setup is fine and my DAC is operating fine.

1. I am using a USB connection from the computer to the DAC
2. I have the Cambridge DAC Magic set to USB 2.0
3. I have the output set to "CA USB Audio 2 Device Audio (WASAPI)

I have tried to use the ASIO output.  Is there anything I'm missing

thanks

In the DSP  (tools->options->audio->DSP), under sample rate, make sure that next to 192,000hz it says "no change" and if not, change it to that.
