Title: failure to recognize CDs
Post by: patented_licks on March 28, 2015, 06:05:42 am
20.0.80 + 20.0.87 are retarded about recognizing CDs. They often refuse to recognize CDs under Windows 8.1 64-bit. Clicking the "Double click here..." is useless. Bug.

"For," but not "during" ripping, as the program refuses to recognize the CD. Didn't like the poetic license? Retarded, yes; technically apt.
The only fix is to quit the program and restart. Then MC wakes up to a disc.

Still does it here too. Quite often I have to bail right out.

All the other times - I always get an error about MC not being able to retrieve metadata and then nothing happens.

I actually do not believe I have ripped in a CD in a long while without having to click on about 3 areas to get it to do something.
