Title: 4k TV
Post by: muzicman0 on March 28, 2015, 01:41:00 pm
Is anyone running MC20 on a 4k TV?  I just bought one, and am running it in 1920x1080, but thinking of getting a new video card that will support HDMI 2.0 so I can go 4k @ 60Hz.

I am 99% of my time in Theater view, and use it mostly for TV.

Thoughts?  Looking at getting a Nvidia GTX960, although if someone has a recommendation for a card that is comparable, I am open.

You might try asking on the Video board here.

I'm not necessarily asking about hardware, etc...I really just want to know how the software works in Theater View on a 4k TV.  If there are any pitfalls I should be aware of.

Should just work. The only issue might be if you're using Windows scaled up (e.g. to 200% size) and using a non-retina Skin. (basically anything other than the default Noire)
