In MC9.0 is there a way to edit thumbnail text (captions)? Or choose artist or album title?
In playing now,
Using : List Style> Thumbnail by album/group if logucal.
Under the thumbnail, the caption is inconsistent, sometimes is has the artist name, the album title, or both, or nothing.
I'm sorry if this has been covered before, but I couldn't find anything thru a couple of searches

In MC v9.1 it always shows just the album name in "Album Thumbnails" mode.

Sorry, I should have mentioned that I,m running 9.0.180. From your answer, I gather there is no way to change this behavior. Does what the caption says depend on where and how the cover art is stored, or does the thumbnail pull the caption from the music file tags?
most of my cover art is stored in the respective album folder on the media HD. I also have some cover art stored in a "cover art - singles" folder on the media HD for single tracks. And I still have some cover art stored in the JRiver/Cover Art folder.
All of my albums are tagged "artist/Album/Track".
Many but not all jpeg file names are "artist/album", some are "album" and some are just file "name/number" that they had when I downloaded them.
Any insight here would be helpful. Idealy, I would like the thumbnail captions to show "artist" in the "thumbnail by artist/group if logical" mode.
Jay.
