Title: Taskbar Controls No Longer Work
Post by: RedJ on April 09, 2015, 11:12:22 am
The play controls while hovering over the program icon on the taskbar are no longer functional for me.  Right-clicking on the program preview image that pops up and selecting one of the text commands does work.  Media control buttons work fine in other apps, such as Windows Media Player on the same files.

Windows 8.1 x64 MC 20.0.87

In a previous build, it worked in Windows 7 and did not work in Vista, so apparently Microsoft keeps changing the taskbar button interface.

Thanks.  At least I know it is not a global problem.  I guess I will have to try a uninstall/reinstall MC to see if I can get it to go back to normal.

Uninstall/reinstall have no effect.  Controls are still disabled for me.  Very odd because whatever the problem is, it doesn't affect any other media player I have tried.
