Title: After todays update movies won't play

After todays update I can't play any movies. It's unable to load additional required components, It just sets there forever trying. ALso download this http://files.jriver.com/mediacenter/channels/v20/latest/MediaCenter200093.exe is taking forever!

After certain updates, MC has to download new versions of the Red October filters, and the download wasn't working. My guess from the fact that you also weren't able to (easily) download the installer is that either:

* JRiver's servers were messed up for a time last night
* Your Internet access was messed up for a time last night

The JRiver servers are working now (I just tested the downloads), so I'd recommend trying again now.
