Title: Portable MC Crashes - Can I load the database from the desktop app?

Hello everyone,

My portable version of MC crashes upon launch.


I don't have a recent backup.
Can I open the database from the desktop version, so that I don't lose the changes that I have made?

You can sure try.  It's the same format.

Of course if a corrupt library is causing your crash, you'll be out of luck.

Hopefully it's something else.

Is it this folder?
..\Application Data\J River\Media Center 20\Library

should I zip it and restore it with the desktop MC?

Honestly I'm not sure, but that looks promising!

Zipping and restoring would work well.
