Title: Re-ordering tracks

I have one album that is perplexing me, one ripped from a CD.  Although the tracks are numbered in the physical file in sequence, they do not play in that order or appear in that order in the library file.  Sorting the tracks does no good because the change doesn't stay.  What am I missing here?

They probably have differing [Disc #] fields.  But, that depends entirely on the sorting in your View.
