I'm trying to add a URL of a podcast http://performancetoday.publicradio.org/listen/ and save it to a playlist. This is actually the address of a player on their website which plays the latest podcast. (New podcast daily.)
When I go to file open URL JRiver opens my chrome browser and plays the podcast, but, as it is playing through the browser, it doesn't show in "playing now," so I am unable to save to the link to a playlist.
My goal is that I can save this link and play it through JRiver (not my browser).
Thanks

You have to find the direct link. They buried it in the page you linked to. Try a Google search. Sorry I can't help more.

Thanks for all your help over the last year - very, very helpful, and much appreciated.
I realize that this isn't a stream - some kind of player that identifies and plays "today's" podcast. So I was thinking it was a non-starter.
It would have to be some kind of macro . . . . from the mouth of someone who hasn't a clue!
No problem.

I launched your URL and used a multi-media sniffer, this is what I got.
