Title: latest update (.99) issues.

Updating both by the "update is available" prompt within the GUI and downloading the .EXE results in the same problem. WHen I try to start the program, it goes to a black screen and hangs. Clicking or pressing any key gives the "jriver has encountered an error and needs to close" error.

none of the other updates had this issue.

help?

also...it never got to the point where it installed the WDM driver, as it is not visible in the audio devices/control panel.

i am at a loss.

Please turn it on in Tools > Options > General > Features.  You may need to install again.

Are you running on Vista or XP?

windows 8.1 sir.

so ive done some poking around and it actually started with .96.  I had to revert to .93 as a daily driver. it always gets to the same place. seemingly completes installation, but when I go to start the application...just a black screen and the rotating aqua cursor/hourglass.
