I'm using a sync device to convert and sync my MC library to a plain folder on my Mac. During the process I see ~/Music/JRiver Conversion Cache gets created. After clicking "Cancel" and investigating the folder, I see 4GB and 600 files. I have two problems with this:
1) ~/Music/JRiver Conversion Cache should live in ~/Library/Caches/com.jriver.mediacenter/conversion cache because it is an implementation detail the user doesn't care about. ~/Music/ contains my files I care about, not implementation details, caches, and temporary files.
2) When canceling, the directory isn't cleaned up, filling up my SSD and looking generally messy.

That's a good idea, thanks. It will be in the next build.

Please see this thread http://yabb.jriver.com/interact/index.php?topic=96136.0 (http://yabb.jriver.com/interact/index.php?topic=96136.0) which explains custom skins and other files being overwritten during an upgrade. As long as you're moving the cache directory perhaps you could address this longstanding issue as well?
Thanks!

Yes, you're right, that needs to be addressed as well. Hopefully there aren't any unforeseen complications with moving the custom resources folder location.

If/when it comes for the Mac and Linux, I'll be happy to test it as much as possible.

Ditto here. I have several custom key combos set up in the Resources.xml file. Would be happy to test on Mac.
