Title: Colors of notes(blue and orange)
Post by: Junyeol on September 30, 2003, 02:28:34 am
I'd like to know the difference between tracks with colored notes(blue and orange) before the track names.

Blue notes means that the file has been imported into the library. Orange notes means that the file is not in your library.

Scott.

Sometimes when you imported some files I have one or two where the icon is a white page with a red cross down right. What's that?
It is gone after a reboot.

Hi Mats,

I find I get that white page with the red on it when I edit tags,
but they return to blue notes when I right-click on the file and choose either 'Clean file properties', 'Update Tags', or 'Rename file from tags' . . . .
all of which I do normally in the course of importing and tagging.

This appears to mean to me that the red & white icon indicates that the tags doesn't match the file info or database info.

I don't know about you guys but I really think they show too much. 'Playing Now' is like invisible. All I see is blue notes everywhere.

'Playing Now' needs more color.

While I'm here...Video files don't have a different color like the rest when not imported. How am I suppose to tell the difference now?

Thanks Lisa. I'll have a closer look next time.
