Please try Noire, PixOS, or Z.

Restart MC, reboot.

Size settings for Windows Desktop and MC's size setting (under the View Menu) may help.  Try 100%.

There have been a lot of changes for high resolution screens, and there will be a few more to come.  Thanks for your reports.

It says "not supported by current skin" (Purity Skin)

Given the high number of users of JRiver, the small numbers of Users reporting skin Issues, you would have to assume that the
problem lies as a Local Issue, with the Windows Settings with Individual PC's rather than changes in JRiver .
It doesn't make any sense to think it would be a JRiver issue or many more would be stating problems....
Just my opinion....

Every once in a awhile. i'll open MC and the tab part of the screen will be extended to the top of the window.
Through  the toolbar. Any updating to the ui fixes the problem. So i haven't reported it yet.

I used the purity skin
windows 7
amd video card

Thanks for this build! The "Skin" issues with large fonts/resolution seems to be fixed with most skins i tested (Thunderstorm, Z, Black on Black and maybe 5-6 more). Sorry for being a bit impatient before, I just didnīt know if this was something being worked on. Thanks again.

Changing Windows 7,  DPI scaling  back to 100% from 125%  fixes the problem, but way to small to keep it that way for my old eyes :)

Please try other skins.  PixOS, Z, and Noire should work.

I'm getting the same problem.  On a Windows 7 system, with display scaled to 125%, MC 20 with Noire skin at 125% size yielded a good setting for home theater.  After 20.0.103 update the MC River fonts are too small for home theater readability.  I used system restore, which reverted MC River 20 to version 20.0.93, and resolved the MC 20 skin font size problem.  The problem is now that every time I restart MC 20, the program automatically tries again to install 20.0.103, and I have to watch to make sure I cancel the update before it reinstals.

Set MC to 100% and Windows to 100%.  Then adjust Theater View if necessary.

In addition to Jim's suggestion, did you check the font size setting while you had 20.0.103 installed? Sometimes the font setting get changed when an update is done and Windows and/or MC are not set to 100% scaling. If the font size has changed, set it correctly in 103 and you should be good to go.

Also, you don't need to use a Restore Point to go back to earlier versions of MC. You can just go to "Help => Update Channels => Open Download Folder (stores 5 previous versions of MC)" and reinstall the older version. That should restore MC as it was previously without issues.

Thanks for the suggestion, however, setting Windows to 100% renders the screen fonts too small to read for other applications (e.g. browser menus/bookmarks).  I usually use Standard view with Noire skin size @ 125% because I find it easy to use for searches, tagging, etc. Everything worked fine before the change in 20.0.103.

Thanks for the tip on Restore Points.  Re: the font size scale setting, it hadn't changed in Windows, just in MC 20.

Not sure if this relates to the Issue people are having, but if you display Theater View on the PC.
The size of the font can be controlled with holding Control on the keyboard and using the third wheel on your mouse.
Might be preaching to the converted though.....

Update - I found out that an update may have caused JRiver's screen fonts to be set too small in Tools/Options/Tree & View/Advanced/Select Font.  I set them back and all is back to normal.

I confused MC's screen fonts with Windows' when I read your response, which did indeed have the answer to my problem. The MC font setting had indeed been changed with the update.  I restored the former settings under Tools=>Options=>Tree & View=>Advanced=>select  font.  It all works fine now.  Thanks again.

Hmmm, I should have been more specific about which font setting. A bit of laziness from writing to so often elsewhere.

 :)  You're welcome.
