Hi All
MC 20.0.93 Win7
Im looking for a way to search Theatre View Artists or Albums or Tracks as you can do in Standard view. I have found the check box option to show "search at file level" , meaning individual tracks can be searched once you enter the artist/album track list for an individual album. The only other alternative I found is to search "All Files" which is at least a search of all tracks (but not albums or artists).
Thanks

Hi
I bumped this unanswered thread http://yabb.jriver.com/interact/index.php?topic=97482.0 in hope to get an answer by rephrasing the question.
I am wondering if there is an expression capable of adding to File Info Panel to enable searching Theatre View ( emulating the search capability in Standard view). ATM theatre view only seems capable of searching at a file level.
Put another way how do you implement a search in Theatre View ?
Thanks

Gadgets > Search is the search in Theater View. It works great for me.

Just FYI, when to "bump" a thread, just reply to the original thread. That moves it to the top of the list. And it is easier because you don't have to paste in the link. ;)
I merged these.

Thanks Matt, that's exactly what I was looking for. I didnt notice it 'hiding' under "gadgets". I since also noticed it can be added from Tool >Options>Theatre View as a top level menu item. "Search" can't be nested under Audio or Video, only under Gadgets. Is this correct?
Is there a list of downloadable "gadgets" apart from the default ones ? (similar to downloadable plugins)

Thanks Glynor, I didnt know that and good to know. Sorry for creating more work for you. :-[

Really, you made more work for yourself too, by finding and pasting in the link to the old thread! No worries!

No, and I don't think there's any way to make your own, even if you code.

Glynor, thanks again
