I'm trying to convert apple lossless files to FLAC. The apple lossless files have album art embedded into them. When I use Convert Format to do the conversion the flac file is missing the artwork. Is there a way to make this work in Media Center? If not, can anyone recommend another program that will. I am using a registered version 20 on the Mac.
Thanks for any help.

I'm using XLD for converting audio. Embedded album art remains untouched.

Thanks I'll give that a try.

I don't have any ALAC files. Can you post an example with embedded album art (via a Dropbox link or something) and I'll test it out?
MC usually preserves tags and artwork when converting.

I've noticed that XLD –> [Preferences] –> [Metadata] –> [Embed cover art images into files] has to be checked for album art to be retained during conversion.

My apologies. Apparently MC was preserving tags and artwork very nicely. I hadn't realized that MAC OS/X doesn't understand flac files and wasn't able to show artwork for them under the Info view. Once I imported the flac files back into MC under a new library all the metadata was there.
Thanks for the suggestions and offers of help.

No problem Raul. Glad to hear MC is working properly. I was kinda wondering why it wasn't, so it's nice to hear it is. :)
