Title: JRiver MC 20 for Mac - Bought two copies by mistake
Post by: DrLou77 on May 11, 2015, 05:35:05 pm
On Friday, May 8 I purchased two versions of this software.  First I purchased the MAC version.  Then I purchased the Master version.  I want to keep the MAC version but would like a refund for the MASTEr version.  Simply put, I don't need both.  I haven't activated either version yet.  Please advise as to how I obtain a refund.

The registration codes for MAC and MASTER version are F8N7 and EXZF3-, respectively.

Thank you.

Please don't post your codes.  I've removed them.

Your dispute filed with PayPal indicates that the licenses do not work.  Our records indicate you have not installed either license.  Is the real issue that you are looking for a refund ?

My issue is two fold.  I bought two copies by mistake:  Mac and Master versions.  I would like to keep the Mac and obtain a refund for the Master.  Secondarily, I cannot get the .mjr file to open.  When I double click on the downloaded file I get an error message.

What is the error message?  Be sure that you have downloaded the Mac version for your Mac license.  Also, browsers can sometimes cause problems. Opera renames the .mjr extension of our Install Key to .exe and this will not work. IE is reliable.

Here's the message I receive when trying to open the .mjr file: "There is no application set to open the document “Media Center20 Mac-294815.mjr”.
I am using Safari as my browser.

Did you install MC?

I thought clicking on the .mjr file would do that - so I guess not.

Install MC first.

I installed the license for the MAC version.  Everyhting seems ok.  Can you void my purchase for the Master version and send me a refund on PayPal?

Could you remove the dispute on the license you want to keep?

It's closed.  The Master dispute is still open.  Thanks.
