Title: Media Center 9 crashes with error msg

Hi,

My MC 9,1 crashes after about 20 seconds without an error message. It complains at startup about cdwriter.ocx, and then suddenly disappears without a trace.

Any clues?

Can you copy your system info here?  From MC Help.

Have you ever used a crack?

Nope, actually bought the software... Problem is that MJ doesn't run long enough to activate it ....

Is it MJ or MC?  Please post your full version.

Try uninstalling and removing the registry data.

I'm using MJ 9.1.256. I tried uninstalling with removing all registry information, a reboot, a reinstall.

I'm using W2K Advanced Server. Can that be an issue?
