Title: Live Playback Latency and song buffering.
Post by: Llannis on May 13, 2015, 12:54:48 am

Since version .103, I have had some buffering during song playback. It happens only at times that I don't use the PCs for about 10 minutes, while JRiver is playing.

Do you think that Live Playback Latency from advanced Playback Options, might solve the problem? How should I set it up? Should I choose something like minimum or a value closer to 500?

Are you playing with the WDM driver?  If so, please try a larger playback latency value.

Hi Matt,

no I am using the default driver at the first zone and for the second zone I guess I am using the portable sound card's driver...

Should I use larger playback latency value for those as well?

The live playback latency setting only applies when playing through the driver.

You just want to increase the buffering in Options > Audio > Device settings.
