Title: Tidal as an MC service
Post by: garysi on May 17, 2015, 07:49:49 am
Does MC20 have any plans to integrate Tidal as a service to those who subscribe to it?  This would be an awesome addition to the services package.

Nope. Please read this for information why (http://yabb.jriver.com/interact/index.php?topic=96774.msg667641#msg667641).

If you are a Tidal customer, please contact them and request this. JRiver did a lot of first steps to access their API and had it working, before Tidal decided to cut them off.

If they changed their tune and gave assurances that they wouldn't renege on the deal again, JRiver might be persuaded to try again.

Tidal didn't cut us off.  They just made it clear that they required control over the interface that we weren't willing to give them.

Hah. You say potato, I say potato.  They said you couldn't use their API to do what you wanted to do and had built, right?  I'd call that cut off.  ;)
