I'm on MC20.0.108
A build or two ago I sat down, started a movie, cranked volume up to -5dB as usual and got almost blown away.
My audio settings are (normally):
Max volume: 100%
Reference volume: 85%
So my -5dB are normally relative to the 85% of full volume. It is supposed to be loud, but not that loud.
I checked the Audio settings (which have been left untouched for months), and they were:
Max volume: 85%
Reference volume: 100%
So when adjusting to -5dB, that would be relative to full 100% volume, and that was loud.
What happened in my settings? I am pretty sure (I try not to say "completely sure" anymore) I have done nothing in the settings myself.
Anyone else experiencing this?
