Title: Media Editor Crashes

I am using MJ 8.0.388 with a system running (recently installed) Windows XP.

I tried for the first time yesterday to use the Media Editor function.  I was able to delete an unwanted selection, but each time I tried to save the new file, Media Editor appeared to save it but then crashed and the new file was not saved.

Can anyone help me?

I'll give it a shot here...

Try installing latest MJ (8.0.396)...may help (but you'll lose your DVD playback). Do you have the SP1 update applied to XP?

If neither helps then I would suggest backing up your license (and library)...uninstalling MJ...reboot...reinstall MJ...restore license and library. Does MJ behave well otherwise?
