I'm using the DLL file from Arcsoft TMT6 to enable this audio format but I'm having a problem with this clicking or popping noise. Latest file to do this Predestination. Not every file does this.
My files are mkv, made with handbrake. AV amp is Yamaha RX-V673 connected by HDMI.
Anyone have any idea what could cause this?
Thanks. ?

Sounds like clipping....

Is this a constant clicking/popping, or does it only happen when there is a lot of bass?
Do you have any DSP options enabled in DSP Studio?

Just FYI, the Arcsoft DTS decoder is no longer required:

If you are getting popping and clicking, that's a generic audio setup issue. This might be helpful:

No, it seems to be random in that it's not coinciding with bass, volume, or sudden changes in sound.
My amp is set to 'direct' so there's no further modification to the signal.
I don't believe I have any superflous settings enabled, I thought I'd set it up as per a guide I found here. I will double check this though.

Ah, well that's going to be one of my first jobs then...removing this .dll file and it's associated settings.
I'll also have a look at both these links when I can get at the TV.
Thanks for this info!
