Title: Standard view makes sound distorted.

I find that I cannnot play music in standard view as the sound is slow and distorted, in Theatre view all is fine. Anybody explain how to fix this issue?

That is a very strange problem.  I have no idea.  Sorry.  Check your audio setup again.  The wiki has a topic on it.

It can be any audio file and I had trouble with .flac files in theatre view too but changed them all to .mp3 as that seemed better, however it is a continuing issue with standard view. I have 16 gbs of ram and a creative sound blaster z  sound card, i cant imagine it being a memory issue.
