Title: Samsung S6 file compatability issue will not play the J River file type
Post by: hifitim on June 13, 2015, 12:32:28 pm
Hello
I need to put my J River audio files in one of the formats below
can I get some advice on that. I would prefer to use a format below that is high quality. I will have over 100 CDS that I plan on importing to my phone

The files should be in the following formats so that they can be opened up using Music player on your phone.
Barton: MP3, M4A, 3GA, AAC, OGG, OGA, WAV, WMA, AMR, AWB,FLAC, MID, MIDI, XMF, MXMF, IMY, RTTTL, RTX, OTA
Barton: So I would request you to convert those files from .ape to any of the formats above and transfer them to phone again and check with the result.

Thanks
Timothy

See here: Sync Handheld (http://wiki.jriver.com/index.php/Handheld).  Use the conversion drop down to always change the output to one of those formats.
