Title: Gizmo - can I use Gizmo on a non-interconnected LAN?
Post by: jwc2919 on June 13, 2015, 07:31:22 pm
OK so its easy to get Gizmo to access MC on the LAN providing internet connectivity.

However I want to use Gizmo on a LAN with players on it that I do not want to connect to the Internet. Is there a way I can change the IP address that Gizmo uses to access MC on my non-internet LAN?

Cheers

Jeff

Enter an IP address instead of an Access Key.

^ To expand on what Jim said, you need your internal IP address and the port number as well.  I believe it's always port 52199 .  So you'd enter something like:

192.168.1.100:52199

The colon (:) means port number.

Gizmo is sometimes a tiny bit slow to connect for me.  I just tried the internal IP address and port and it's lightning fast.  Yay. :)
