20.0.116 freezes with normal use. When scrolling it freezes using my 2.3mhz i7 quad core 16gb ram Mac mini. This should not happen. Why?

Not much concern out there.

There's not much information in your original post.
I've seen some issues with the UI freezing occasionally, and posted about it in the build thread for 116. But it isn't clear if this is what you were seeing, or if you were seeing the entire application lock up, or what is going on.

There is not much more to say than I am only running JRiver and airfoil for streaming. JRiver freezes, but does not stop playing music. I then have to close JRiver and reopen it to be able to manipulate playlists and scrolling. Auto import is never engaged.

How does it work without Airfoil?

I've noticed these UI 'freezes' too lately, but it's extremely random and doesn't always happen.

Same here. I've had a small number of freezes; maybe one per week, or a little less than that. Several behaviors:
1. Freeze of the interface, but audio continues to play. Buttons don't respond, display won't really update, but some of it sometimes will partially draw.
2. Program freeze where audio stops *and* the display won't show at all.
I've had recovery from type 2, but only like 1 in 3 or 1 in 4 times. Type 1, audio keeps playing for as long as I mess with it (no longer than 5 minutes or so), but won't recover until I quit and restart MC.

I too have had crashes on 116 and a report is sent to apple.
It seems to happen when the last track is played on the list and it attempts to start at the beginning of the list (repeat is on).

This is basically what I've seen, though my buttons DO actually work. So, if I double-click Pause, it does Stop playback, but the UI itself is frozen.
It happened to me maybe three times in the past week where I was using MC very heavily on my Macbook Pro (with build 116).

The player spits up and a report is sent to apple.

This isn't the same at all.

JRiver works great with Airfoil!
