Title: State of MC Dither on Linux/RPI?
Post by: PrinterPrinter on June 22, 2015, 05:04:28 am
Hello,
I've been using MC on windows for a while now and recently started using it on RPI.

I cam across the Dither thread with Bob Katz and wonder what's the state of dither on the linux/RPI?
He is saying that 24bit input on ASIO works perfectly fine - though I recall there's no ASIO on linux?

Please advise,
Thank you!

Whichever output you use is independent of dithering. If 24-bit output is working perfectly fine on ASIO, then its also perfectly fine on ALSA on Linux.

Thanks,
Did we get TPDF dither implemented in the end?
