Title: internet radio within MC window or through WDM driver?

What is the difference btw playing internet radio or similar (youtube etc) directly within MC window and playing them on a browser through the WDM driver?

I haven't worked extensively on either option, but the first one doesn't look very easily accessible; or is it?
