Title: JRiver license problem
Post by: lasonia on June 29, 2015, 03:55:09 am
Using JRiver on two Macbooks Installed JRiver 20: one license for Mac1, one license for Mac2, Mac2 crashed re-installed all including JRiver used up third license. But then the program kept on asking for licenses, so there are only 5 left now! What went wrong? Would like to have the licenses unduly asked for back please. How shall I proceed ?

Hi Jim, have the new license thanks, but am a little at a loss as to Version 21.0 for Mac. Could you please clarify, when it will be released?

We just released the first builds for Windows this week.  The Mac version won't be far behind.  About a week.

Jim,
I am also having a similar problem. I downloaded a master license on out mothership iMac and a mac pro notebook. I have logged on a few times since then and this is the second time it has asked me to renew my license?? Why is this and what can I do to stabilize this program on both my machines so I just fire them up and they work?

Make sure you're using the latest version of MC for Mac.  It's in the thread at the top of this forum; currently 20.0.126.  The reason is, licensing changed something like 6 to 8 weeks ago and the new licenses won't work on older builds of MC20.  So use the latest version.

If you still have a problem after that report back and we'll see what else we can do.

Brian.
