Title: Playback in sequence using track number does not work.

I am on the last release. When I command play from the thumbnail on the main screen, MC loads tracks randomly. Same using JRemote (on Android). I thought track # by disc # is the way the software prioritize the playing now list.

Is it playing randomly, or is it in a specific order which is not the one you wanted?
Are you clicking play on a single album, or an artist with several albums?
 
The obvious thing to check would be that Player → Shuffle is off.

Thank you for the swift reply.

I think I found out the culprit.

JRemote (Android) sometimes plays the list from the single album (sorted in my case by Recent folder) randomly and keeps the server stuck in that sequence even after I clear the playlist directly in the server.
I have flagged app update server zone and vice versa in the JRemote app.
