Title: JRiver Android Client
Post by: iMilazzo on July 02, 2015, 02:54:53 pm
Hi. I've just bought a nVidia Shield Android TV and I've discovered that this amazing box is almost useless because there are a lot of issues like not to support 24p, not to support DTS-MA-HD, Dolby TrueHD, Dolby ATMOS, etc...

I'm really frustrated. But....

Maybe if JRiver launches an Android client, maybe my problems could be solved and my new almost useless nVidia Shield had a purpose in my home theater.

A vote to a JRiver Android Client.

And if possible some integration with Plex, like Plex see my Smart Playlists.

Thanks
Ivan

Would JRiver Gizmo show up on the Android TV store?

Here (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=jriver.mediacenter.android&hl=en)

Also, JRemote (http://yabb.jriver.com/interact/index.php?topic=96348.0) (which has more of a future than Gizmo).

Gizmo isn't going away anytime soon.

It seems to me that Android TV is here to stay, so I'm surprised that there is no more discussion on this subject.

Has anyone installed Gizmo on a Nexus or any other Android TV device?
