Title: How to add directshow filter (dmitrirender)

I want to use another directshow filter which adds frame interpolation (dmitrirender). How can I add the path to the directshow filter? It's a dll file

Set video mode to Advanced>Custom in Tools > Options > Video > General Video Settings. Then click "custom video mode settings" and you can add filters.

Hi,

did this work for you?

I just tried the same with MC21 - and I could not find dmitrirender in there to add it.

I registered dmitrirender and I can use it without problems with mpc-hc.

Any suggestions are appreciated.

and did not find any helpful information there, regarding my problem.

I cannot find "Red October HQ with additional filters" - I assume, this has been replaced by "Custom" in MC21 and the possibility to choose between RO / RO HQ and then add rulesets. But in none of the drop down menues I have the ability to choose the Dimitirender - only the "ffdshow raw video filter"  is available as Video post processor.

Could you please provide me with precise information on how to activate this custom filter in JRiver - thank you very much!

If you want to set up your own Direct show filters, we can't help.  Choose Custom.

Hi there - in the end i set it to use an external program so i chose MPC-HC - not possible in JRiver 21
