Hi,
I just synched all my 4 and 5 star songs to a "generic USB device" (a MicroSD card for my Surface tablet). All the songs got to the drive. But when I plugged the synched MicroSD into my Surface and re-imported, the total file count was correct however the rating stars were lost on all the APE files. But those files have stars on my desktop system. The flac, wma, m4a, mp3, wv, and wav files all kept their stars just fine. Only the APE files lost their stars.
How do I get around this bug so that the ratings wont be lost when doing a sync of APE files? I think I discovered a bug. Why would the APE files have 4/5 star ratings on my desktop system, but those get lost when I synch to a flash drive and carry that over to another machine?
Thanks

It isn't a bug. The ratings may not be in the file tags. You can try "Update tags from Library". It's a Library Tool. Try a few before you do very many.
