Title: How do I stop MC generating automatic playlists?
Post by: shadySean on September 20, 2003, 07:41:51 pm
Hi all.

I try to delete the auto playlists that MC generates, but each time I start MC, they come back. I don't want these to keep coming back.
Can I do this?

I have MC 9.1.256

Thanks All.

the best you can do is leave the parent groups in place and delete the children. The children will stay deleted.

aaaawww how cruel, and I suppose you do this right where the parents can see it too  :o

LOL

I would like to see that also, at least perhaps until a reinstall replaced the default items.
Perhaps if they do not make this change we can get a clue what to regedit to 'make it so'.   ;D

I'm sure there's been times when they wished they could delete the parents, and vice-versa ;)

For my part though, I'd use the recycle bin, then if any problems arose from them not being around, I could simply restore them to their original location and all would be well again.

Another cool option would a remote control with a big "Mute" button on it......
