Title: Same license model - fresh perspective

I love the JRiver license model.

The current explanation has the following downsides:
1.  People think since they pay up front they have the right to make feature requests
2.  Some don't like paying for what they don't know will happen
3.  Others think JRiver is perpetually in "beta"

It really is all a matter of perspective. I prefer this explanation:

Its like age. JRiver is finishing its 21st "year" and will soon turn 21. Then it will start its 22nd "year."
Those who purchased an MC20 license received free updates for the entire 21st "year".
You now have a chance to celebrate MC21 by purchasing an MC21 license.
You will also receive free updates throughout its 22nd "year."
Thanks for your continued support.

The model stays the same, but the perspective changes. Just something to think about.  :)
