Have no clue why....but on all of my 4 JR servers (1 as server & 3 clients) all of a sudden the TV guide and my favorites just disappeared from Theater view. I was on build 31. I just updated all to 32. I looked at settings and nothing seemed to have changed. I am at a loss as to how to even trouble shoot. Any help please!

Is this in the wrong place? Should i move to TV Cards?

I have tried numerous things including scanni g guide and setting up my HD Prime with cable cards with no luck. Guide doesn't show up in standard or theater view. All recording schedules are gone. Can anybody pls help?

EPG data is currently a problem. That is why your Guide and Favourites have disappeared.

Thanks for your reply, Roderick. But I'm confused as to what changed since this past Monday when, up till then, all was well with the guide and favorites. All of my scheduled recordings have disappeared too, in standard view under "to be recorded"
Now I see, in theater view, under Guide, it seems that the only channels listed are those above what we receive. Ex: 1 to 700 are non hd. 701 thru 800+ are HD channels. Then 900s are music channels then 1000 & above are...I don't know but not applicabale. Only those 1000 & above seem to appear in the guide. Plus they are not in the grid style they used to be.
I have an HD Prime Homerun with 3 cards & have selected to update the guide automatically. I have the accurate zip codes, provider, etc selected. What could have change to totally mess this up? All worked till this past Tuesday.

The EPG data from the source you were using dried up, due to Microsoft changing their EPG data provider. No EPG means there will be no scheduled recordings. But your recording rules should still be in place.
Why your favourites disappeared, I'm not exactly sure. But if there is no EPG data, the channels won't appear in the Guide, and so I assume they won't appear in a favourites list.
Someone else reported that after this happened, and they tried a rescan, they got a whole lot of channels above 1000. I don't use the EPG you do, so I can't check. Here: http://yabb.jriver.com/interact/index.php?topic=99079.msg685854#msg685854

I believe that JRiver are working on a solution, and in the meantime alternatives are available. See the EPG thread I listed above, and look for the comments about donate-ware mc2xml.

Thank you very much Roderick. Really appreciate the info. I have found and have been reading the EPG thread......I am not as technically inclined as most of you here but i am going to try to find another guide solution. I have a general idea but reading that thread is somewhat confusing to me as I don't understand all of the functions of grabbers and other related tools required and therefore it is difficult for me to pick out pieces from that thread to construct a step by step process to accomplish this. If you or anyone else has or knows of instruction for step by step pls let me know. I will continue to read and try and figure it out.
Thanks

The simple explanation of what to do is donate US$20 or more to the creator of MC2XML ( http://mc2xml.awardspace.info/ ), he will then provide the version that works with the new Microsoft EPG data, if you email and ask for it. See instructions on his site for how to install and run it.
Then import the resulting XMLTV data file into MC using the XMLTV option for EPG.
As I don't use, or need to use, MC2XML, I can't really give you a step by step description of how to do it all. Sorry. I feel your pain around losing EPG data. Been there. Done that.
I know that JRiver is working on the issue. But I don't know any more than that. They may have a solution soon. But if you know someone who could set up MC2XML for you, it may be worth asking them for help.

Yes, this must be related to the EPG problem. Favorites in Theater View is like Guide, as RoderickGI mentioned, will show empty grid if there is no guide data.
