Title: Which Debian to choose?

If starting from scratch with Debian,
does the x64 version have an advantage
over the x386 or does it make no difference?
I use my system as a dedicated JRiver
audio playback system, only audio.

There are no particular advantages of running 64 bit MC over 32 bit MC if we take only MC into account.
If you had a bunch of other programs running or > 3 gb of ram you might want to choose the 64 bit MC.
