Title: should recent searches work?

My most recent search will show up at the top of the list, but, although their order changes, the items in the rest of the list never change.

This is with 21.0.2, although I saw the same behavior with 20.x.

I found the relevant registry key, shut down MC, blanked out the key, opened MC, did more searches, and had the same problem again.

Then I tried deleting the key. An empty key was created, but the problem occurred again immediately.

Then I did the searches and watched the key change. I think I see what's happening now: the list is acting like a stack instead of a queue.

Fixed: The recent searches in the search box wasn't working properly.
