Title: hevc 10bit

     I have a HEVC 10bit file (Video: hevc (Main 10), yuv420p10le, 3840x2160) and it wont play.  Is Jriver21 supposed to be able to play the file?

    It starts to play, shows up in madvr OSD as 10bit then jriver crashes.

Does JRiver support 10bit encoded video?

10-bit is generally supported, note however that it puts a considerable load on the system compared to 8-bit files, especially with HEVC, so experience may vary.

Would it make for easier playback if you had some type of format converter that would convert h.265 10bit to h.264 10bit?
