Title: File conversion not working? (iPod)

When i'm transfering flacs to my iPod it converts on the fly (to aiff) but then the file doesn't play in my iPod, it always worked fine up until now.

I've tried converting to a different format (ALAC) and it still doesn't work. Any suggestions on why this has suddenly happened?

I tried resetting my iPod, reformatted/deleted everything off it, and still can't get flacs to play onit no matter what format i convert to, i also made sure the files convert to 48khz if necessary.

I can connect the iPod to JRiver and play the songs from the iPod, through JRiver, but when i use the iPod by itself it just doesn't play at all and stays at 0:00

After reformatting/resetting my iPod it says that there is nothing on the drive, and no space on the drive.  :o
When connected to JRiver the iPods contents show as fully synced with all the music & playlists, it seems my iPod may just be dying and nothing is wrong with JRiver...
