Any views on when jriver will move to 0.88 (if it hasn't already)? 88 seems quite experimental so I am guessing "not yet" is the answer.
Does mc21 work with 0.88 just fine? Posts on doom9 from Hendrik suggest so but again, would be nice to know for sure.

It works mostly fine for me, however it has a few issues still and changes quite rapidly at times, so we'll hold off for a bit.
-
What about upgrading to the final release of 0.87 ?
-
I support the request to update madVR ;)
Thanks!

I'd like to see the latest madVR release too.
Let the MC Users getting "Latest" (or Beta) MC updates have the latest LAV and madVR, and keep the current version for those Users that subscribe to "Stable" updates.

I agree with Hendrik, 0.88x really is a work in progress from Madshi and anyway if you are savvy enough you can already use it with MC21.

I'm not sure I agree. We're Beta testing MC, not LAV/MadVR.

Hey is there any way I can use the current madVR as a filter (like I do with manually managing LAVAudio since for a few problematic 6.1 tracks, JRSS downmixing doesnt work as expected) in JRIver?

I think we are testing the whole combination. And LAV+madVR is the reason I came to JRiver.
But I'm okay with it either way.

We need to test MC with a version of madVR that is known good. We switch it when we think it's ready.
You can install madVR manually and use MC's custom mode for video.

I agree with this, MC should be providing known good versions of the libs it uses. I think the ability to drop your own version in which MC then respects is sufficient for the advanced/bespoke use case.

I'm sure I don't agree, for that reason.
Beta testing both at the same time makes it impossible to distinguish the cause of issues, and only increases complexity. Also, Hendrik knows what he is doing. We'll switch to it when it is time.

It doesnt show up as an option. If I remember, it was really easy to get my own LAVFilters in (so I can keep them up to date), feel like Im just missing something.
