Hi all - have recently upgraded to windows 10, and was settling down for a nice MadVR tuning session.
Strangely, pushing the NNEDI3 settings to max had no effect. Having poked around the web, I see that recent Nvidia drivers have effectively broken it.
I'm running a GTX 760.
Does anyone know if there is a fix? - I simply don't have the time to plough through 50 pages on the doom9 forum, and just wondered if anyone here knew.

1) Use ancient drivers
or 2) Use Windows 7 or 8.1
-
where "use ancient drivers" means "use 353.49"
-
Many thanks indeed guys, you've saved me ton of time.
Assume 353.49 works for windows 10 - or will it automatically try and update it to a more recent "broken" version?
-
I believe there is a way of turning off the auto update. You might need the monster doom9 thread for that info though ;D
-
Thanks again.
Can you point me to the actual driver - I can only find the hot fix
-
Personally I don't like these older drivers, they have some issues that make some things rather unpleasant, but if you don't notice any problems then good for you.
If you can't live without NNEDI3, the best recommendation is always going to be to stick to Windows 8.1 until there is a proper solution.
-
How does Super-XBR compare to NNEDI3 for you? I personally find them very comparable and it might be a nice and easy stop-gap until the drivers or W10 are fixed.

Haven't seen this. Is it included in the current Madvr version included with MC?

You would need to manually upgrade it to the current 0.88 build though note that it is under heavy development atm with quite a few new options being refined.
